Stingray Panerai Strap From Atelier Du Bracelet Parisien

I recently received a strap from Atelier Du Bracelet Parisien in their "galuchat", or stingray.

To say that the strap is different is a serious understatement. I've never encountered anything like this remarkable material; half hide, half mineral, it defies description.

As a strap, it is exceedingly well made, there is no stitching, and the inside is perfectly smooth. Fitting to a Panerai presented no problems at all with the buckle, pins and tubes. The strap is no stiffer than a regular hide strap down the sides of one's wrist, and it becomes imperceptibly thinner (in depth, not width) along its length towards the "tongue", such that the end that fits in the buckle is very supple and easy to slip under the "keeper".

In my opinion, a beautiful strap, very well made, and very comfortable. And you can almost guarantee you'll never meet anybody else wearing one!
