Orbita Travelling Case Review

By Gary

Orbita make a small watch case intended for travelling, which can hold Panerai.

The case has a leather (black or brown) exterior with a suede like fabric interior. The watches are held in place by elastic loops. It is a fairly snug fit getting a Panerai strap through the loops but it seems okay to me.

There are two layers of soft material to protect the watches from each other when the case is zipped closed. The things I liked best about the case are: You can wind the watch without having to remove it from the case.

The strap lays flat, unfastened in the case, so it saves on strap wear (this might not work so well for deployant buckles or metal bracelets). The case is small and light and will easily fit in a drawer, safe, safety deposit box or under the mattress. It is relatively inexpensive, retails for around $95 US and sells for around $72.50 US.
