Vendôme Special Editions 2000
The flyback chrono is very similar to the regular production chronographs, however it (obviously) has a flyback function. It was rumoured that due to a design flaw some flybacks produced take two or three presses of the reset button to reset, although I've never witnessed any problems myself, and other owners report trouble-free operation.
| Scans | Numbers | Case | Dial | Movement | Description |
| C:300 | 40mm titanium Luminor. Sapphire crystal display back. Titanium / steel bracelet. | Silver, sand blasted steel. | OP VI | Hours, minutes, small seconds. Flyback chronograph with 3 counters |
PAM 64 Luminor Submersible 1000m
The biggest and nastiest Panerai so far, with 5mm thick sapphire crystal and a helium release value, this watch is known (with good reason) as "La Bomba" in Italy. Much to the consternation of collectors, who thought they were buying a unique edition, the 1000m submersible has gone into regular production for 2001/D, albeit with a blue dial.
| Scans | Numbers | Case | Dial | Movement | Description |
| C:500 | 44mm steel Luminor Submersible, with helium release valve at 9. | Black | OP III | Hours, minutes, small seconds at 9, date at 3. |
Panerai's take on the "big date" phenomenon, this high-value piece is apparently stunning to see in the flesh, metal, whatever.
The Zerograph contains a beautiful NOS single-button chrono movement. With a US MRSP of around $24,000, it would need to be good-looking!
| Scans | Numbers | Case | Dial | Movement | Description |
| C:99 | White gold 42mm Radiomir. Sapphire crystal display back. | Black | Hand wind, Lemania CHT 15 from the 1940s | Hours, minutes, small seconds, single-button chronograph with two counters |
PAM 81 Luminor Marina automatic Monte Carlo 2000
This watch celebrates Officine Panerai's sponsorship of a yacht race in Monte Carlo. It differs from the regular PAM 70 only by virtue of reading "Monte Carlo 2000" on the dial, and a vastly inflated price.
| Scans | Numbers | Case | Dial | Movement | Description |
| C:200 | Brushed steel 40mm Luminor | Blue, reading "Monte Carlo 2000" | OP III | Hours, minutes, small seconds at 9, date at 3 |
PAM 82 Luminor Marina Militare Amerigo
Vespucci ![]()
Very similar to the original Marina Militare, and the current titanium Luminor Marina models, this watch does have a slightly different dial, and a caseback engaving. The Amerigo Vespucci is the sail training vessel for the Italian navy. All officer candidates have to go through a basic nautical training on this ship.
| Scans | Numbers | Case | Dial | Movement | Description |
| C:300 | Titanium 44mm Luminor, caseback engraving | Blue, reading "Marina Militare" | OP II | Hours, minutes, small seconds at 9 |
