Radiomir Automatic
The Radiomir case with its distinctive wire lugs was mostly reserved for unqiue editions, however the Radiomir is now moving into (relatively) regular production
C / 2000 saw the introduction of a 40mm white gold watch, with small seconds at 9, a date at 4 (a characteristic of the automatic OP VII movement) and a sapphire crystal display back.
For D, the same watch in rose gold was added to the range, the first Panerai to be made of something other than a white metal.
For E, a steel Radiomir has been added to the line. The steel Radiomir differs from the precious metal models in that it is 42mm in size, has a date under a cyclops at 3 (the gold models have no cyclops), and the rotor on the movement is gold. According to press materials this movement is still classed as an OP VII.
As Panerai's relationship (well, everybody's relationship) broke up with Zenith (now owned by LVMH) the OPVII was phased out, and hence all of these references with it.
