The Originals

kh has sent in this amazing picture of his original Luminor with a hand wind Rolex movement.

Thanks to Fai for this picture of a mid-1950s Radiomir (despite having what is now termed a "Luminor" case). Made for the Egyptian Navy it's around 60mm across. About 50 pieces were made, making it very rare and desirable.

Here are a few photos of a piece from my own collection. A compass made in the 1960s. A very similar model can be seen on the back cover of the book Panerai Historia.

An amazing, and near-unique set from Don. The watch is unique in that it has two locking levers; one for the crown and the other for the rotating bezel. The case measures a whopping 68mm x 68mm and is constructed out of aluminum. The liquid filled compass is on a nylon strap/Panerai buckle and is numbered 205 and measures 70 x 56. The morse code device comes with a leather holder and velcro strap all of which comes in its original box.
