Paneristi SIHH 2007 Report - Interlude
A few comments on the report so far. Before setting out I actually took the trouble to read my last report and spotted a note I'd left for myself, "less coffee, more tripod". I duly purchased a neat little tripod and took it with me to Geneva.

I suspect that the tripod enjoyed the trip. It went to Geneva, stayed overnight, probably snuck out at night to get some fondu. What it didn't do was actually accompany me to the Salon. It was only as I was on the courtesy bus from the hotel to the exhibition hall that I decided to perform a quick personal inventory; pass: check, spectacles: check, camera: check, tripod: $%&*!
So, another note to myself for some potential future year: more tripod, and actually take it with you next time, asshat.
This is all a very long-winded apology-cum-explanation for the heinous quality of photos and videos in this report. It has nothing to do with my innate lack of talent.
