Since early youth I have been fascinated by clocks. Back then it was my grandmother's pendula clock ( Junghans ) from 1934 and I still love it very much.

As a teenager I was interested in swatches and solar watches. It is mechanical watches of different brands today these fill out my hobby and interest.

But my daily companion certainly is the Officine Panerai. The emotion it causes when I am wearing it is unique. I am interested in everything I can read or collect about Panerai.

Therefore Paneristi.com is a very important source of information. There is not a single day that my Paneristi friend ( Volker P36 ) and I do not exchange information or pictures by e-mail or telephone about Panerai. It was him who infected me with the OP-virus!

I shivered with excitement the day my very first Panerai, PAM61, arrived by mail (not delivered by UPS-Girl :-).

Our Panerai tours to Cologne (1st Official Meeting), the tour to Munich to pick up our watches (my PAM88 and Volkers PAM127,88), the straps-event (Dirk Grandry's straps) and the creation of our t-shirts were sensational. When our families meet of course we also talk about Panerai.

You could actually say: nothing works without Panerai.

While at work I always have a window opened in my PC for Paneristi.com to keep me up to date. I am very happy that there are many Paneristi worldwide who all have the same interests and meet at the forum.

In a word: Panerai Is My Passion
